  10. The Z257UP.ZIP ZIP file includes the following files:

  12.  -> READ.ME,      this file!
  13.  -> ORDER.TXT,    New prices/New registration informations,
  14.  -> ZDLL20A.DLL,  New ZDLL20A.DLL release (2.56),
  15.  -> ZDLL20B.DLL,  New ZDLL20B.DLL release (2.56),
  16.  -> UZDLL20.DLL,  New UZDLL20.DLL release (2.57),
  17.  -> ZIPSTD20.VBX, A new VBX for the Zip API (2.56),
  18.  -> INET.TXT,     A message for Internet users.

  21. To make the change you must already have the Zip Studio API (2.x) and/or
  22. the Zip Studio Shell (2.x). To do this, simply replace the old ZDLL20A.DLL
  23. ZDLL20B.DLL and UZDLL20.DLL with the new versions, and, if you use the Zip
  24. Studio API VBX, do the same with ZIPSTD20.VBX.

  26. WARNING: You must upgrade all the modules you have on your system: i.e.
  27. if you already have both ZDLL20A.DLL inside you Shell directory and in the
  28. Windows/System directory, you must delete all these DLLs.

  30. These are the major enhancements:
  31.  
  32. 1- ZDLL20B.DLL
  33.    Sometimes (specially with very small binary files), the Zip Studio
  34.    puts a wrong CRC value to these ZIP files.

  37. 2- ZDLL20A.DLL and ZDLL20B.DLL
  38.    A GPF you may have when you change the ZIP file comment should not
  39.    appear any more. Now, ZIP files use file names in uppercase.

  42. 3- ZIPSTD20.VBX
  43.    Now, the <Split> and <Join> properties work: You don' t need to call
  44.    the 'C' functions any more with your Visual Basic applications!
  45.

  47. 4- UZDLL20.DLL
  48.    <SetAskPassword> now works. Some problems with encrypted ZIP file have
  49.    been corrected. Some other bugs were solved too.
